Acupuncture and allergies

Seasonal allergies can feel debilitating. Runny nose, itchy eyes, sore throat, feeling like you have the flu.

I had seasonal allergies. In fact, that is why I went to an acupuncturist in the first place! Acupuncture is amazing at treating allergies. In fact, it is one of my favorite things to treat!

Acupuncture has been shown to help regulate inflammation. Allergies are a reaction to something internal or external that causes inflammation. Inflammation is good in the short term, but in the longer term it can be detrimental.

I have found that acupuncture before the season begins (say spring gets you), is the most beneficial to managing allergy symptoms. I would recommend regular and routine acupuncture treatments before the season begins and before your symptoms begin! Then maintenance as the season progresses or if you are still noticing symtpoms.

I love treating allergies. I find that acupuncture is so beneficial for it. Want to work on your allergies? Book an appointment with me by clicking here.
